HE Mr. Hassan bin Mohammed Rafei Al Emadi, Ambassador of the State of Qatar to Japan, participated in the reception of the "Arab Day in Japan" held by the Council of Ambassadors and Heads of Arab Diplomatic Missions accredited to Japan at the Okura Hotel in Tokyo. The reception was attended by HE Mr. Shinzo Abe, the Prime Minister of Japan, HE Mr. Hiromichi Watanabe, the Minister of Reconstruction and HE Mr. Takashi Yamashita, the Minister of Justice.

His Highness the Amirr Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani received the Crown Prince of Japan, His Royal Highness Prince Naruhito, at his residence in Tokyo on Wednesday evening. The meeting addressed the relations of friendship and cooperation between the two countries and their areas of development.

During the meeting, the bilateral relations between the two countries were reviewed, as well as the developments in the regional and international arenas.

Mr. Tadahiko Ito, the Secretary General of the Japan Parliamentary Association for Friendship with the State of Qatar, H.E. Mr. Hassan bin Mohammed Rafi Al Emadi, Ambassador of the State of Qatar to Japan, H.E. Mr. Seiichi Otsuka, Ambassador of Japan to the State of Qatar, and many of the Arab Ambassadors accredited to Japan and members of the Qatari Embassy in Tokyo were among the receivers.
