His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, Amir of the State of Qatar, received this morning at his residence in Tokyo, H.E. Mr. Tashhiro Nikai, the Chairman of Japan Parliamentary Association for Friendship with the State of Qatar, and members of the association. During the meeting, they reviewed the relations of cooperation between Qatar and Japan and the ways to strengthen them.

During the meeting, the bilateral relations between the two countries were reviewed, as well as the developments in the regional and international arenas.

Mr. Seiichi Otsuka, Ambassador of Japan to the State of Qatar, and many of the Arab Ambassadors accredited to Japan and members of the Qatari Embassy in Tokyo were among the receivers.

H.E. Mr. Tadamori Oshima, Speaker of the Japanese House of Representatives, received at the Japanese Parliament, on Friday afternoon (January 25), H.E. Mr. Hassan bin Mohammed Rafi Al Emadi, Ambassador of the State of Qatar to Japan. During the meeting, they reviewed the bilateral relations and means of enhancing them and enhancing the political ties between the two friendly countries.

H.E. Ms. Yoriko Koike, the governor of Tokyo, received H.E. On Thursday, September 27th, 2018, at the Imperial Palace, the Emperor of Japan Akihito and Her Majesty Empress Michiko held a tea ceremony in the honor of three new ambassadors accredited to Japan; H.E. Mr. Hassan bin Mohammed Rafi Al Emadi, Ambassador of the State of Qatar and the Ambassadors of the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Lesotho. During the meeting with His Majesty the Emperor, and after exchanging words of welcome and courtesy, the emperor pointed to the importance of bilateral relations between Japan and the State of Qatar, and the great developments witnessed by the State of Qatar.
