H.E. Mr. Hassan bin Mohammed Rafei Al-Emadi, Ambassador of the State of Qatar to Japan, and members of the embassy, Mr. Abdullah bin Jassim Al-Zeyara, Minister Plenipotentiary and Mr. Rashed bin Mubarak Al-Khater, Second Secretary at the Embassy, visited "Maskar facility", a multi-functional fishery processing facility in Onagawa Town, which is one of the projects implemented by the Qatar Friendship Fund in Japan to help with the reconstruction of areas that witnessed widespread destruction by the earthquake and tsunami of March 2011.

H.E. Mr. Hassan bin Mohammed Rafei Al-Emadi, Ambassador of the State of Qatar to Japan, and members of the embassy, Mr. Abdullah bin Jassim Al-Zeyara, Minister Plenipotentiary and Mr. Rashed bin Mubarak Al-Khater, Second Secretary at the Embassy, visited three facilities that were implemented by the Qatar Friendship Fund in Japan to help with the reconstruction of areas that witnessed widespread destruction by the earthquake and tsunami of March 2011. His Excellency and the embassy members concluded their tour with a visit to the "Qatar Science Campus" at the prestigious Tohoku University, which is ranked among the top ten universities in Japan. The cost of this project is $ 2.8 million.

H.E. Mr. Hassan bin Mohammed Rafei Al-Emadi, Ambassador of the State of Qatar to Japan, and members of the embassy, Mr. Abdullah bin Jassim Al-Zeyara, Minister Plenipotentiary and Mr. Rashed bin Mubarak Al-Khater, Second Secretary at the Embassy, visited three facilities that were implemented by the Qatar Friendship Fund in Japan to help with the reconstruction of areas that witnessed widespread destruction by the earthquake and tsunami of March 2011. The second stop of the tour was the "Elem Project" in the city of Sendai. His Excellency and the members of the embassy assessed the progress of this project, which is based on an educational program aimed at providing students with practical experience to help develop plans for their future lives. The project cost 6.9 million dollars.

His Excellency and members of the embassy began the tour with a visit to the "INTILAQ" Innovation Center in Sendai City, Miyagi Prefecture.
