HE Mr. Jaber Jaralla Al-Marri, Ambassador of the State of Qatar to Japan, attended the forum organized by Media City Qatar in Tokyo, which brought together over 450 leading figures from the creative industries to explore opportunities for expanding Japanese intellectual property on the global stage.
The forum featured a distinguished lineup of influential Japanese figures, including Ken Kutaragi, former CEO and President of Sony Computer Entertainment and known as the "Father of PlayStation"; Keishi Ōtomo, director of the Rurouni Kenshin film series; Eiko Mizuno-Gray, CEO of Loaded Films in Tokyo; and Nao Udagawa, CEO of Bandai Namco Entertainment.
Participants discussed strategies to promote the export of Japanese content to international markets and highlighted the role of Media City Qatar in providing infrastructure and incentives to empower creators to scale their projects globally.
