HH Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani, Emir of the State of Qatar, pays a courtesy visit to HIM Emperor of Japan

HIM Emperor Naruhito of Japan received a courtesy call at the Imperial Palace from HH the Emir of the State of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani. At the outset of the meeting, HH the Emir expressed to HIM the Emperor his sincere condolences on the death of former Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe. During the meeting, His Highness and His Imperial Majesty reviewed the close relations between the two friendly countries and touched upon many topics of mutual interest.



Ambassador Attends Ramadan Iftar Hosted by Governor of Tokyo

H.E. Mr. Jaber bin Jarallah Al Marri, Ambassador of the State of Qatar to Japan, attended the Iftar hosted by HE Ms. Yuriko Koike, Governor of Tokyo, on the occasion of the blessed month of Ramadan. The Iftar was attended by ambassadors of Islamic countries in Japan.


Ambassador Chairs Coordination Meeting of Gulf Cooperation Council Ambassadors in Japan

H.E. Mr. Jaber bin Jarallah Al Marri, Ambassador of the State of Qatar to Japan, chaired the periodic coordination meeting of ambassadors of Gulf Cooperation Council countries accredited in Tokyo. During the meeting, the ambassadors discussed the importance of continuing joint Gulf cooperation, ways to enhance coordination and cooperation with Japan, exchanged views on common issues and interests of the council countries, and discussed ways to develop bilateral relations with Japan.


Ambassador Attends Ramadan Iftar Hosted by Japanese Prime Minister

H.E. Mr. Jaber bin Jarallah Al Marri, Ambassador of the State of Qatar to Japan, attended the Iftar dinner hosted by H.E. Mr. KISHIDA Fumio, the Prime Minister of Japan, on the occasion of the blessed month of Ramadan. The Iftar was attended by ambassadors and heads of missions of Arab and Islamic countries in Japan, as well as members of parliament, deputy ministers, personalities from bilateral friendship associations, and officials from the Japanese Prime Minister's Office and Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
