HE Mr. Taro Kono, Minister for Digital Transformation, received HE Mr. Jaber Jaralla M. A. AL-MARRI, Ambassador of the State of Qatar to Japan, in his office. The meeting discussed bilateral relations and ways to enhance and development in various fields of interests, among other topics of mutual interest.

HE Mr. Jaber Jaralla Al-Marri, the Ambassador of the State of Qatar to Japan, received a courtesy visit from a delegation from the Onagawa town. The delegation included Mr. Takashi Hiratsuka, Superintendent of Board of Education of Onagawa Town, Mr. Yoetsu Ishimori, Chairman of the Onagawa Fish Market Buyers Cooperative Association, The delegation expressed their gratitude to the State of Qatar for its developmental support to the Onagawa town.

HE Ms. Yuriko Koike, Governor of Tokyo, received the delegation of the Central Municipal Council of the State of Qatar, headed by the President of the Council, HE Mr. Mohammed bin Ali Al-Athba, in the presence of HE Mr. Jaber Jaralla M. A. AL-MARRI, Ambassador of the State of Qatar to Japan, as part of the visit of the Central Municipal Council delegation to Tokyo.

A delegation from the Central Municipal Council of Qatar, headed by the Council President HE Mr. Mohammed bin Ali Al-Athba, and in the presence of HE Mr. Jaber Jaralla M. A. AL-MARRI, the Ambassador of the State of Qatar to Japan, met with HE Mr. Satoshi Udagawa, President of the Tokyo Metropolitan Assembly. The meeting addressed several issues of mutual interest in the municipal field and explored Japanese expertise in infrastructure and environmental issues.

HE Mr. Jaber Jaralla M. A. AL-MARRI, Ambassador of the State of Qatar to Japan, received a courtesy visit from the office of the administration of Kanagawa Prefecture Association. This visit came in preparation for their scheduled visit to the State of Qatar at the end of March 2024. During the meeting, they discussed the details of the visit to Qatar as well as ways to enhance cooperation between the Assembly and relevant authorities in the State of Qatar.

HE Mr. Jaber Jaralla M. A. AL-MARRI, Ambassador of the State of Qatar to Japan, paid a courtesy visit to Mr. ANDO Toshihide, Director-General of the Middle East and Africa Department at the Japanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs, on Wednesday, January 31, 2024. During the meeting, they reviewed the bilateral cooperation relations between the two countries.

HE Mr. Jaber Jaralla M. A. AL-MARRI, Ambassador of the State of Qatar to Japan, met H.E. Ms. Yuriko KOIKE, Governor of Tokyo in the annual reception hosted by the Governor of Tokyo, which was attended by senior government officials, members of parliament, diplomats and businessmen.

HE Mr. Jaber Jaralla M. A. AL-MARRI, Ambassador of the State of Qatar to Japan, met HE Ms. KAMIKAWA Yoko, Foreign Minister of Japan, during the reception of “Niigata, the Treasure Box of Japan" that was hosted by the Foreign Minister and Mr. HANAZUMI Hideyo, the Governor of Niigata Prefecture.

HE Mr.OKANO Masataka, Vice-Minister for Foreign Affairs of Japan, received on Friday 12th of January 2023 a copy of the credentials of HE Mr. Jaber Jaralla M. A. AL-MARRI’s credentials, the Ambassador-designate of the State of Qatar to Japan. He wished Ambassador Al Marri success in his duties and expressed hope for further development and growth in bilateral relations.

Her Imperial Highness Princess Takamado, received today the 17th of October, H.E. Mr. Hassan bin Mohammed Rafei Al Emadi, Ambassador of the State of Qatar to Japan, on the occasion of the end of his term. During the meeting, Her Imperial Highnesses praised His Excellency’s efforts and contributions that align with the framework of strengthening the close relations between the two friendly countries.
