HE. Mr.Yoichi Fukazawa, Parliamentary Vice- Minister for Foreign Affairs of Japan, met with HE Mr. Jaber bin Jarallah Al Marri, Ambassador of the State of Qatar to Japan. The meeting discussed bilateral relations and ways to develop and enhance them in various fields of common interests, as well as various issues of mutual interest.

HE Ambassador of the State of Qatar to Japan Jaber bin Jarallah Al Marri stressed that the relations between the two countries constitute a model of cooperation, friendship and common interests, noting that the leadership, government and people of the State of Qatar attach special importance to the existing partnership with Japan.

HE Mr. Jaber bin Jarallah Al Marri, Ambassador of the State of Qatar to Japan and Commissioner General for Expo Osaka 2025, met with His Excellency Mr. Hiroyuki Ishige, Secretary-General of the Japan Association for Expo Osaka 2025, on the sidelines of the expo-related meetings in Nara, Japan. During the meeting, they discussed the preparations, readiness, and efforts being made to ensure the success of Qatar's pavilion at Expo Osaka 2025.

HE Mr. Jaber bin Jarallah Al Marri, Ambassador of the State of Qatar to Japan and Commissioner General for Expo Osaka 2025, along with the delegation from the Committee for Qatar's Participation Preparation, took part in the international participants' meeting for Expo Osaka 2025, held in Nara, Japan.

HE Mr. Jaber bin Jarallah Al Marri, Ambassador of the State of Qatar to Japan, held a dinner party in honor of HE Mr. Hassan bin Mohammed Rafei Al Emadi, former Ambassador of the State of Qatar to Japan, on the occasion of HE Al Emadi receiving the highest order awarded by the Japanese government, the Order of the Rising Sun - Gold and Silver Star, from HIM Emperor Naruhito in appreciation of his great contributions to strengthening relations between the State of Qatar and Japan.

In the name of HIM Emperor Naruhito, the Government of Japan awarded (the Order of the Rising Sun - Gold and Silver Star) to HE Mr. Hassan bin Mohammed Rafei Al Emadi, the former Ambassador of the State of Qatar to Japan, in appreciation of his great contributions to strengthening relations between the State of Qatar and Japan. This took place at a ceremony held at the Imperial Palace in Tokyo.

HE Mr. Jaber bin Jarallah Al Marri, Ambassador of the State of Qatar to Japan, welcomed HE Mr. ITO Tadahiko, Member of the Japanese House of Representatives, Secretary-General of Japan-Qatar Parliamentary Friendship Association. During the meeting, they had a meaningful dialogue on strengthening parliamentary relations and fostering collaboration between the two nations.

The State of Qatar held the groundbreaking ceremony for its pavilion at Expo Osaka 2025 in Japan, in the presence of HE Mr. Jaber bin Jarallah Al Marri, Ambassador of the State of Qatar to Japan, and Commissioner-General of Qatar at EXPO 2025, and Sheikh Ali Alwaleed al-Thani, deputy commissioner-general and chairman of the preparation committee for Qatar's participation in EXPO 2025 Osaka, Japan.

Students of Qatar Academy - Al Wakrah visited the Embassy of the State of Qatar in Tokyo and met with HE Mr. Jaber bin Jarallah Al Marri, Ambassador of the State of Qatar to Japan.

HM Emperor Naruhito of Japan received the credentials of HE Jaber bin Jarallah Al Marri as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the State of Qatar to Japan.
