In the name of HIM Emperor Naruhito, the Government of Japan awarded (the Order of the Rising Sun - Gold and Silver Star) to HE Mr. Hassan bin Mohammed Rafei Al Emadi, the former Ambassador of the State of Qatar to Japan, in appreciation of his great contributions to strengthening relations between the State of Qatar and Japan. This took place at a ceremony held at the Imperial Palace in Tokyo.

Japanese Prime Minister HE Mr. Fumio Kishida presented HE Ambassador Al Emadi with the medal and conveyed his greetings to HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani and his wishes to the State of Qatar and its people's further development and prosperity.

HIM Emperor Naruhito of Japan also received HE Al Emadi and congratulated him on his deserving of the decoration, the highest order awarded by the Japanese government.
