The State of Qatar Participates in the 14th UN Congress on Crime Prevention and Criminal Justice

The State of Qatar is participating in the 14th UN Congress on Crime Prevention and Criminal Justice, which began in the Japanese city of Kyoto and will continue until March 12.

The State of Qatar is represented by a delegation including HE Permanent Representative of the State of Qatar to the United Nations and international organizations in Vienna Sultan bin Salmeen Al Mansouri, HE Ambassador of the State of Qatar to Japan Hassan bin Mohammed Rafi Al Emadi, HE Second Secretary of the Embassy of the State of Qatar in Vienna Sheikh Abdulrahman bin Nasser Al-Thani and and Mr. Abduallah bin Jassim Al Zeyara the Minister Plenipotentiary of Embassy of Qatar in Tokyo.

HE Minister of Justice and Acting Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs Dr. Issa bin Saad Al Jafali Al Nuaimi had participated in the opening session that was held via video conferencing. He handed over the banner from the State of Qatar, in its capacity as President of the 13th United Nations Congress on Crime Prevention and Criminal Justice which was hosted by Doha in 2015, to Japan, stressing Qatar's keenness on providing full support to the new Japanese presidency for the success of its tasks.
