Embassy’s diplomats to hold a farewell party for the Arab diplomats and officials who will leave Japan after the end of their terms..

​In the framework of the diplomatic and social activities of the Embassy, ​​and in an initiative that reflects the spirit of brotherhood, friendship and cooperation among the Arab diplomats, Mr. Abdullah Bin Jassim AlZeyarah, the Minister Plenipotentiary and Mr. Rashid bin Mubarak Al Khater, the Second Secretary of the Embassy, hosted a luncheon in Tokyo on Monday 9, 2018, to bid farewell to a number of Arab diplomats and officials working at Arab companies, who will leave Japan after the end of their terms.
The ceremony was attended by officials from the Japanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs, headed by Mr. Miyakawa, director of the GCC Department in the Ministry, Mr. Mazen Abu Dari, Advisor at the office of the Minister for Foreign Affairs of Japan and a number of Arab diplomats, artists, and academics.

In a speech at the beginning of the party, Mr. Alzeyarah and Mr. Rashid thanked the guests for their participation in the party and explained the bonds of brotherhood, friendship and cooperation they had with their departing colleagues during their stay in Japan. They wished them good luck in their future missions.
During the party, the Qatar’s diplomats presented commemorative gifts to the celebrants, which were paintings of Japanese calligraphy designed by the famous Japanese international calligraphy artist Mr. Hachyio.
The Japanese Foreign Ministry officials expressed their admiration for the initiative and noted that it was the first of its kind in Japan.
