The State of Qatar participated in the International Conference on Ukraine Land Mines (Ukraine Mine Action Conference 2025), hosted by the Japanese capital Tokyo on October 22–23, 2025, with the participation of high-level representatives from more than fifty countries and international organizations.
The Qatari delegation was headed by HE Mr. Jaber Jaralla Al-Marri, Ambassador of the State of Qatar to Japan, accompanied by representatives from the Ministry of Defense.
The conference, organized by the Government of Japan in cooperation with the Government of Ukraine and the United Nations, aimed to raise awareness and promote partnerships and international cooperation in the field of mine and unexploded ordnance clearance in Ukrainian territories.
