HE Mr. Jaber bin Jarallah Al Marri, Ambassador of the State of Qatar to Japan, conducted an inspection visit to Onagawa Elementary and Junior High School, which was partially funded by the Qatar Friendship Fund in Japan. The visit was part of efforts to support the reconstruction of areas affected by the 2011 earthquake and tsunami.

During the visit, HE met with the school’s principal, Mr. Masayuki Kumagaya, and several students. He was briefed on the progress of the educational process and school activities. The visit also included discussions on the importance of such projects in strengthening ties between the State of Qatar and the local community in Onagawa Town.
