Exchange of official memorandums between the State of Qatar and Japan on the procedures for mutual exemption for entry visas for holders of ordinary passports in the two countries.

H.E. Mr. Hassan bin Mohammed Rafei Al Emadi Ambassador of the State of Qatar to Japan, participated on Thursday morning at the headquarters of the Japanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the exchange of official memorandums between the State of Qatar and Japan, to start the procedures for mutual exemption for entry visas for holders of ordinary passports between two countries, which will commence from April 2, 2023. 
H.E. Mr. Nagaoka Kansuke, Director General of the Middle Eastern and African Affairs Bureau, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan signed from the Japanese side.

本日2月2日木曜日、カタール国と日本の間で、一般パスポート保持者に対する査証の相互免除に関する覚書が交わされました。

ハッサン・ビン・モハメド・ラフィー・アルエマーディ駐日カタール国大使が日本の外務省へ訪問し、カタール国と日本の間で一般パスポート保持者に対する査証の相互免除に関する覚書を交わしました。本年4月23日より開始されます。日本側からは外務省 中東アフリカ局 の長岡寛介氏が出席し、覚書に署名ました。
