HE Mr. Jaber Jaralla Al-Marri, Ambassador of the State of Qatar to Japan, participated in the New Year's Tea Ceremony held at No. 1 Bldg. of the House of Representatives. The event was hosted by three distinguished members of the Japanese Diet: HE. Mr. Keishi Abe, Member of the House of Representatives from the Japan Innovation Party; HE Mr. Jesús Fukasaku, Member of the House of Representatives from the Democratic Party for the People; and HE. Ms. Kaoru Fukuda, Member of the House of Representatives from the Liberal Democratic Party.
During the ceremony, views were exchanged on experiences in international mediation. The event also highlighted the role of the traditional Japanese tea ceremony (Chanoyu) as a symbol of peace and equality, encouraging dialogue and understanding between nations.
