As part of the celebrations of the State of Qatar' Sports Day, the Embassy organized a sports event in Tokyo led by Mr. Abdullah bin Jassim Al- Zeyarah, Chargé d'affaires a.i., Mr. Rashid bin Mubarak Al -Khater, the Second Secretary and all other Embassy employees and workers. The participants gathered in the Shiba-gardens to practice some sporting activities and took commemorative photos. Later in the day, the participants marched to the Imperial Palace Gardens in central Tokyo.

During the event, participants carried sports flags of the State of Qatar and some banners that attract the attention of bystanders from the Japanese people and foreign audiences.
