As part of the celebrations of the State of Qatar's Sports Day, the embassy organized a sports event in Tokyo led by H.E. Ambassador Hassan Al Emadi, the diplomats, all of the employees in addition to some guests and friends. The participants gathered at the “MIFA Football Park” sports stadium in central Tokyo, where they played football, volleyball, badminton, tug of war and other recreational games and sports activities.
The entrance to the sports stadium was decorated with flags of the State of Qatar and banners for the 2022 World Cup hosted in the State of Qatar, as well as banners in commemoration of the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the State of Qatar and Japan, which attracted the attention and interest of a large number of the Japanese public.
